Hope you all had a great 4th of July!

Its been too long!

Well lately I have been to busy with work and vacation planing I haven't gotten a chance to post about my finds from Fresno!
Well last weekend we took a drive to Fresno so that the boyfriend could ref a game. We left early to hit up some thrift stores around the corner from the Fairgrounds.
We found so much good stuff!




First Let me yet again apologize about the picture quality. maybe I will have some extra cash to buy a camera soon!

 This Lucite top purse was a find! I only paid 8 bucks for it ! 

 This a little big but still wearable 

 This I actually got in Ventura. I wore it to Fresno.

 Definitely 60s

 I dont really know the exact era this Jacket is from im thinking 40s? I like it nonetheless

I know its hard to tell but these shoes matched the 60's dress PERFECTLY like they were made for each other.









Well tomorrow we are off to Santa Maria hopefully i can hit up some more shops. There is also an estate sale with 50s furniture that I may just have to make time for.

I decided to randomly looke at urban outfitters shoes last night and stumbled on the cutest pair of heels!
I don't know if they are old news but I thought I would share them with you guys anyways.

Thrifting finds.

Yesterday I went on a last minute run to the local goodwill store yesterday.
I did this instead of going to derby practice because the boyfriend and I just felt like playing hooky !
I was glad I did for I decided to take a dig through there purse bins and found some cute little purses.


It had been awhile since I had been to Goodwill due to their high prices. 7.50 for jeans 6.00 or more for dresses 5 dollars for purses. Recently they have dropped their prices. Now they are a little bit more reasonable.

I apologize for the quality of the pictures but do not have a camera at the moment (I'm saving for roller con (will explain ) ans cannot purchase )

 This purse is neat looking and is quite large> I have no Idea of the era? But regardless I like it.

 This little 50s purse was my favorite.

 This little makeup train case is pretty dusty. I have no idea the era but i thought it was neat and for a buck 25 how could I say no?

This I found at a different thrift store awhile ago and just haven't had the right time to post about it. its very odd. It has those weird woven squares with some type of plastic over it.
its pretty neat in its own way.

Long time No. . . write?

Hello fellow readers. Sorry for the neglected writing but I have been just soo busy for the past week or so. I'm definitely in need of some therapeutic thrifting! I definitely feel like I go through withdrawals.
There hasn't been any luck for me on finding a vintage vanity but I have already reorganized my room for when the right one comes along. Im hoping its soon.


Here's some recent gifts my boyfriend got me just because.

Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of these items.

1st he got me an omnibook magazine lot of 18 magazines  they have around 160 pages. 

They should be arriving on my doorstep today!

2nd he got me a much needed 1940s makeup train case.

Recently I purchased a pair of shorts for derby that seem to look a lot like the type of short that would be worn for derby in the 40s-50s

 Please ignore the awkwardness of the photo.

they seem fairly similar. I fell in love with them when i saw a roller girl wearing them
at bout.
